Western Nursery Growers’ Group

The Western Nursery Growers Group' (WNGG) was a reconstruction of the Prairie Association of Nurserymen and was established on September 7, 1979.  One of the main objectives of the Western Nursery Growers' Group is to provide education to its members and the general public on the advancement of suitable trees that are best for the Canadian hardiness zones 2 and 3.  WNGG is the only organization representing nursery growers (retail and wholesale) across all four western Canadian provinces and has a membership of over 30 members.  The WNGG is managed by volunteers consisting of an 8-member board: a President, Past-President, Treasurer and Secretary, and one board member from each of the four provinces.
